A "Tang" with handles what a cool idea, I have always had trouble catching those dang things that would make it much easier.

we use them at my work to pick up big doors, work well. I've seen them used on myth busters too to climb a building

When we moved it into my basement, we used an appliance dolly. I still have the dolly if you want to borrow it to move it back out.
