Moving anemone

My BTA moves every night. He goes to the top of my tank, right at the waters edge and then when we turn the dawn lights on, he moves down a little. He's on the wall of the tank a couple inches above the LR right now. Is that ok? I guess I've always seen them attaches to rocks.

I don't know if it should be moving that often. Usually when they move they are not happy, and are seeking out a better spot with better conditions.

Hmm.. I didn't think of that. I will be doing a water change today. Maybe that will make him happier

You may want to rearrange your rockwork a little, see if that accomodates it.

jumping on the the thread topic , my Bta moves only at night as well, during the day it's a spot and stays put, as soon as the lights go out it goes a wandering.
any ideas??

I just rearranged my rocks. I need better stacking rocks. I also peeled hm off the wall lol and stuck him back at the bottom. Hopefully he won't wander again.

With hi8m moving a lot, and he touches my coral, will he sting it or hurt it?

Yes, he can; I'd suggest moving the corals to a QT tank until he decides where he's going to homestead. My anemone was the first thing I put in (as far as non-fish stock goes). The moving at night is most likely because it hasn't found a place it likes yet either.
