moving BTA's

Well for those of you that follow my threads, I have a pair of B&W clowns in a tank with three BTA's. They are either spawning and I can not see the eggs, or are just getting very near spawning. The anemones are firmly planted deep inside the rock. I have tried everything to no avail on getting them off of the rock so that I can remove it to a sump (nowhere to hide eggs then). I have flipped the rock upside down, dimmed the lights to coax them out, added several powerheads to get them to move and placed rocks on top of them (female clown just throws the rock no matter how big it is). I have no way to get to the base of the foot on any of the three and I am getting very frustrated. If anyone can offer me some suggestions that will not hurt any of the BTA's please, fire away.

On a side note, I have never had any issues getting any other anemones to move but these three are just driving me nuts :)

Thank you in advance to anyone with helpful suggestions.

If this is thier first time spawning I would just let it all be as is. Then get prepaired to raise fry. and after the first clutch...put a tile in there right under the anemone. I would go about it that way.. however I have not followed ur other post... but will check it out.

I do not expect them to spawn right now, if they aren't already as I just moved a couple of weeks ago. I have added a pot under the females prefered BTA but she shoves anything and everything that you add to the tank against the side glass. The RBTA split and I now have three in a 15 gallon and I want to separate them out into my other tanks.

Using ice cubes around the foot of the anemone has always worked well for me... but it depends on how accesable it is on that rock
