Moving from a 55g to a 125g

Hey Everyone!

I am moving from a 9 month established 55g to a new 125g and I need to know what is the best way of moving into a larger tank. (I have already bought additional powerheads, sand, rocks, ect. for what is recommended)
If anyone has any links, that would also be very helpful!

What I did(although on a smaller scale, 30 to 80) is to fill and cycle the new rock in the new tank. Then once the new tank was cycled, I moved everything over within a couple hours. Had no issues.

This is of course assuming you have the room for both tanks.

Keep your live stock cooler or tubs at temp and with flow. A great tip that helped buy me the was turning up the temp in the house to roughly 76 so the water temps didn't drop too much.
