I live quite near where your headed (about 5 min) and run an RO/DI, just give a shout for some anytime. I'm right off of 417 and Orange Blossom Trail (OBT), I think you'll love this side of town. Tony
 
Be careful of Grog. The man is not right in the head. He likes to "cut" waaaaay too much. Of course he is a surgeron, so what do you expect? I won't even mention the dog and a half. :rollface:

Thanks for all the offers for help!! Really means a lot. I will post when I have more specific (date, time, ect) details. I have a feeling that I am going to LOVE Orlando!!!
 
You forget, my entire professional life was tracking and finding people who run (from CMAS now). Muhhhhahaha!!!

It's the beer that makes Grog like that, trust me.

LOL, when I have time!!

I just finished a custom 125 stand/canopy combo (see the CMAS page or gallery for pics).

Tomorrow I start on a project of epic proportions. I will be building a custom 570 gallon peninsula stand/canopy......in under 2-1/2 weeks!!!!! :eek1:

There WILL be a thread on this one, to be picked up by the owner, who already has an AMAZING setup, complete with an in-basement sump that 2 different tanks run off of......at opposite ends of the house!!!!! He also has it set up where he can do a 50-gallon water change with the flip of two knobs....in under 2 minutes!!!! Almost nauseating!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome and I hope to get to know all of you better when I get down there.....if this stand does not kill me first!!

570 peninsula build thread

Looks like the move-in date for me and fishies is going to be Sunday June 10th, early afternoon. I plan on leaving IL the morning of June 9th with everything packed up the night of the 8th. That puts me at around 36-40 hours of transit time. Everything SHOULD be fine for that long, but I will need lots of fresh water (by fresh I mean aged saltwater mix) when I get there.

Stay tuned as the date gets closer.

Thanks ahead of time to all who want to help!! I'll promise everyone who helps a cookout with a few beers (as soon as my grill and kitchen stuff get delivered the following week). :beer:
