Moving live sand

Folks, I need to take down my 65G

Can I move the live sand into the "fuge" area on my 90G?

Why not just leave it in the fuge. The deeper the sand bed the better (source Calfo)

might want to add some reef mud before the additional sand.

Sure. It could cause a small cycle though. I would rinse it a little with saltwater though.. Just dump it into a bucket fill it with saltwater and slosh it around then drain the water.. Then add it to your 90 where ever you want. HTH

Moved it over yesterday and took down the rest of the 65G today, now i need to decide if i should sell it or keep it until we have some more money.
