Moving my clam to a larger tank...

Hi,
How soon can I move my clam over to a new tank after it is finished cycling and all parameters are back down to 0.

Itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s a 4ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ crocea that I have had for about 6 months.
I am worried about the tank not being stable enough.
I patently waited over a year before buying my first clam because of this reason.

I am moving him from my 29g to my 100g.
The 100g tank has finished the cycle about 3 weeks ago.

Thanks
Cam

I'd give it 4 months to stabilize and settle in. That's the time I *should* have waited for my Squamosa, but he's a tough clam and put in my 29 after 1 month and he is doing fine.

I would have to agree with "AttackDonut". I would wait 4 months before moving your Crocea. How are your parameters in your 100g??

Thanks for the replies.
Last thing I want to do is rush anything. I can live with 4 months. He is happy in the 29g Itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s me that wants him in the 100g.

Presently there are no Traces of Ammonia / Nitrite or Nitrate. Skimmer is on and I am running carbon. I havenââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t measured or added any calcium because there are no corals in the tank yet. The same goes for pH. What ever is in the water now came from my salt mix. So far I have transferred over about 40 lbs. of established live rock from my other tanks. And it has a new 5" DSB.

I will start working on raising the calcium this weekend.
