MOVING SALE - Corals/Fish/Liverock/MH Lights

By the way very nice pieces of rock with built in caves on some, however you do need a larger tank. Joel, you should check into this seeing that your tank is set up very similar.

Cycled Salt Water and Large Coralline Covered Shells/Crushed Coral Pieces

Cycled Salt Water and Large Coralline Covered Shells/Crushed Coral Pieces

At the end, the water in the tank has to go. I hate to see it go wasted to the garden and sewer system.

As I have been emptying the tank and removing the rocks, I have been also topping off with new fresh RO/DI salt water (using Instant Ocean Salt). So, I will have about 225 gallons of good quality cycled water that will help some of you jump start a reef system. Free, first come first served. Let me know how many gallons you need and I will put you in the list.

You will need to bring your containers to carry your water. And with the speed the tank has been emptying, I guess it will be available this weekend or early next week. I will post an update when the water is ready to drain.

I don't have sand bed, but large crushed coral pieces and shells at the bottom, about 1/2"-1" thick. For those of you who have seen it and liked it, it is good alternative to bare bottom. I will sell it as live rock. So, another good opportunity to jump start coralline and avoid cycling from start. Let me know if you need it. If you get water and these shells, you pretty much have an established reef from day one.

Thanks,

Max

Thanks Max, the rock is incredible.

Thanks Max, the rock is incredible.

I have already found several kinds of life lacking in my tank in the rock I got from you!

You have a great set up which I will use as a model for my future
ventures.

Thanks again,

Ron

Max

It was very nice to meet you today your fish looked awesome, I wish I could have had more of them. Keep me in mind for the other two tangs. The purple tang is being warmed and aclaimated as we speak. I'll keep you updated on his progress in the next couple days.

Ron, I am glad you liked the rock. If you also need shells, let me know. When you were here for the rock, I didn't think about it.

RV8tor, it was nice to meet you. It was a challenge to catch him, but I am glad at the end it turned out to be a good addition to your tank. I will be interested hearing an update on him. Thanks. I have already found a good home for the algae blenny.

Pods are mostly gone. But I have some phytoplankton that is available for free. CoralReef, I will reserve a bottle for you. Anybody else, let me know.

Marilyn, I found a very good home for the pair of long spine urchins. Well, kind of forced him to get them :) Thanks Patrick :D

If anybody needs macro algae covered rocks, let me know when you stop by for the liverock. I have a few in the refugium.

I also have gracilaria (thin branches, nice deep purple color, almost like coral). Free first come first served, let me know when you stop by to pickup something.

Anybody who gets the pink birdsnest colony, gets the other lavender polyp birdsnest colony for free. First PM to me gets it. Please plan on picking them up today.

Hitchhiker alert: There is also a tri-color SPS encrusted and ready to grow on the pink birdsnest colony rock... That can be broken off easily.

Ya Max twisted my arm, now I have to have these awesome detrivores in my tank :(. Max, if you can't find a taker for the birdsnest colonies before you take the tank down let me know, I'll take em. I was going to mention that tri-colored SPS that's growing next to that birdsnest, it's a good deal folks :).

Large Live Rock

Some of you asked for the pictures of two large live rock pieces. Both are select premium special order Fiji pieces.

Piece 1 on the left side of tank, under 250W 14K DE Hamilton + 660W VHO actinic+white actinic (comes with encrusted green digitata and some kind of lettuce coral, neon green star polyps, all can be broken off as needed). I am guessing about 18-20" diameter along the long side, minimum 25 pounds:

The purple tang is enjoying his new living quarters and getting to know its roommates. He is eating and exporing the whole tank. Thanks again.

BTW I still want the kole and naso ;)

I am glad purple tang is doing well. He was a little stressed when we caught him...

Today I broke my fish catch time record again, when blevinson was here it took about 2 seconds to catch the Naso for him; unbelievable. That means Naso is gone, and the Kole is also leaving on Friday. Good luck finding similar ones, John.
