I'm busy moving this week and there are some reef-related things in my basement that I want to get rid of. I live in North Buffalo and will be home Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
1. Small acrylic sump. Hold on and I'll measure it. Nope- I packed my tape measures, so I can't/ It looks to be about 11"x18." There is a sock holder in one corner and some weird sponge filtration in the middle. Free.
2. Metal halide/vho retrofit combo. I bought this from someone when I started in the hobby. It's two single ended MH bulbs, and I honestly don't remember if they're 175 of 250 watts. I think there are reflectors in there too. Crappy reflectors. Ballasts included. Also two vho bulbs and ballast. There is a sheet of plexiglass that slides along the bottom panel to protect from splash. All of the bulbs need to be replaced and the actual lights are enclosed in a painted box that needs to be sanded and repainted. It's a great light for someone who doesn't want to pay a lot for a light. Functional, but in need of cleanup. $50.
3. Two ARO 250 watt ballasts and two SE mogul sockets w/ crappy reflectors. I bought these. I don't know why I bought them. They've sat in my basement unused. $20.
4. I have a 400 watt Sunsystem ballast w/ reflector and bulb. This is NOT designed for a reef. It was used for overwintering plants. I have no use for it now. The bulb should probably be replaced. $40.
I'm moving on Sunday and working nights Thursday and Friday, but I know I'll be home the next two evenings. Let me know.
