moving tank aross room

any idea how to move two ten gallon stocked tanks for jus tone day one room over, i thnk i will empty them both halfway then carry them with my dad to other room, then fill up to about 75% so fitlers can run then just take out more otmorrow and return them back, anym ore ideas? the tanks are one a dual tank( oen on top of another

hmmm. thats tough. I would definitely empty them. the best would be to empty completely. but, either way, if you move a tank partially filled with water, make sure to support the bottom completely.

Get a rubbermaid container of appropriate size from Home Depot. Siphon about 80% of the water into the rubbermaid. Then scoop up the fish and move them in (they are super easy to catch in 2" of water). Put a heater and airstone in rubbermaid, and relocate your tanks. Cheap, easy, and safe!

Do not try and move tanks with any water in them. They break really easy!
