Hi,
I'm soon moving into a new apartment and new tank. I was probably going to set up temporary tubs to house my current fish. I didn't qt them originally and while none have exhibited any parasites, I thought now would be a good time to qt everything. Couple of questions:
How long should I keep my liverock/coral fallow? I assume separating the coral and rock into a container with no fish can starve flukes, ich, etc? I'm still acquiring equipment for the new set up so I'm not in a huge rush to have everything set-up.
I've done a decent amount of reading on QT techniques but any advice would be great. Curious if most people just go with one or two treatments of Prazipro or do you also administer Cupramine as this article suggest? (http://www.advancedaquarist.com/blog/quarantining-marine-fish-made-simple).
Thanks!
