Moving to Australia

Hi Everyone,

Well, my wife and I thinking to move to Australia. Obviously will be setting up a new reef once settled in new place. We still deciding Brisbane or Sydney.

I have a question, does any one can advise who is a best to deal in regards, livestock and hardware. Any glass companies where I can buy pre-cut glass? Maybe someone can refer to people who selling a frags. Mostly going to build SPS and zoa reef. I've heard acan are cheap in AUZ too :dance:

Go on to www.masa.atn.au This is the reefing forum for the whole country. There are ads from LFS and other associated reefing businesses. Sydney and Brisbane are big cities and you will have no problem getting all the gear you need.

FWIW I think you'll find the hobby overall is far more expensive and with much less choice than you have in the States. On the flip side, many WC corals are a lot cheaper. Bear that in mind though when you fork out $100 for a cleaner shrimp or royal gramma....
