Tank Drilling Victoria Australia

Hi there,

was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a 4x2x2 rimless tank drilled in Victoria Australia. I’ve never done it and it makes me feel sick drilling into a brand new tank.

I would ask your local LFS.

I’ve drilled a few tanks without issue, but the largest was a 40 Breeder.

I did my 75 and then several other tanks. Thick glass is easier. I use a decent corded drill with a second handle, running water and Diamond bits from BRS or that came in the overflow kits.
No one here does it anymore.

Id love to do it perhaps I could get an off cut of glass and try it.

The Most Important Thing— Don’t rush, just let the weight of the drill do all the work, and lubricate the bit with water.

@Duzzy73 make sure the part of the tank you're planning on drilling is NOT tempered glass. If it is, it will shatter when you try to drill it.
