Hello all,

I'm fairly new to RC, and currently live in Cleveland OH, but will be moving down to Nashville in July for work. Will have to start my tank all over again in a new city. Excited to start fresh, but wanted to say hello and introduce myself. how do I go about joining MTRC?

Andrew

How large is the tank you have in Ohio? Are you gonna just start all new down here, or hope to save some pieces and transport here?.......Think of transporting it?

Andrew welcome to the club. There are aot of nice people in the area and you should enjoy the weather for the most part. The more I visit other states the more I love Tennessee.

I'm taking down a 72 g Bowfront which I've had up for 6 years. I'm planning on selling it, I bought a 42g Bow to replace it. I know... downsizing, but I'm getting married in June before the move and two peoples stuff in half the space makes a larger tank tricky...

The USAF is an old tag that I use for everything (b/c I can remember it) from High school when I wanted to Join the Air Force... but that dream was dashed when my recruiter told me my eyesight wasn't good enough to Fly.

on a side note, I'm going to need some advise on setting up a small sump. I bought the tank used and its not drilled. I think I will just use and overflow box, as this tank will likely only be temporary until we get a larger place.

The tank and stand were bought used (and cheap) and the guy I bought it from reinforced the stand with some 4x4s (crazy right), but it doesnt leave a lot of room for a sump set up.

I was thinking of useing my remora skimmer on the sump to save vertical space...
thoughts?

If you would like help drilling, let us know. I know I and several other people in the club have done it. No big deal at all as long as your glass isn't tempered. :)

If your Remora will fit, I can't see a reason to not use it in the sump. In fact, I'm about to move my Tunze to the sump on my tank after I get a new pump for it. :)
