MP10 NIght Mode Question

I tried to use the night mode feature on my mp10's. I was under the impression that the feature would stay on for 10 hours and then revert back to the original setting. I turned them on last night at 11:00 and had the white blinking light. This morning at 10:30 they are still in night mode. Is there something I did wrong?

If I remember correctly when I set mine up the duration of night mode is programmable. Mine is set at 12 hrs and I need to set up my mp40 for the same duration as it only stays in night mode for 10.
Matter of fact I'm going to check the manual now and get a refresher on how to program it.

Looks like I was wrong on 2 fronts, According to the manual " The
pump’s internal timer will then enter Night Mode for 10 hours and return back to your previous mode for 14 hours."
So I guess it is NOT programmable and mine must only run in "night mode" for 10 hours and not 12.

Ok now they seem to be working. It must be in a 12 hour mode because I went out for a while and now both pumps are back in reef crest mode. Interesting.

I wonder if it has to do with the fact that my drivers are the quiet drive drivers and are not wireless. Maybe it depends on the age and type of drivers. Time to investigate.

I dont believe so, shutting off the power via the controller should not re set the night mode, if you unplug or have a switched receptacle that you can turn off then yes, re setting will be needed.

Also if I turn off the power, for instance, to do a wc, will I have to reset the settings?

Update, I powered the pumps down yesterday to do a wc. This morning the settings were gone, so I guess they disappear when the pumps are powered down ):

Also be aware the internal time keeping does not seem to be very accurate. My night mode drifts by a minute or so every day. So by the time a month goes by the night mode is off by 30 minutes from where it started. I usually reset the night mode then.
