MP10w es Wont update firmware

I have 2 older firmware mp10's, and just got newer one that has a newer firmware. I've tried multiple times to update the older ones off the newer one with no luck. I've turned off everything, and even ran a extension cord to power the drivers with my whole system unplugged. Any ideas why they wont update?

If you purchased a new Quiet Drive pump, you will be unable to update older ES controllers to the new QD.
