MP10WES master & MP40W slave question

I bought a new mp10wes recently and set it as master while my old mp40w as slave in anti-sync mode. I have a few questions to ask:

1. when master is running at 80% and slave is 20%, does it means 20% of mp40w max. speed set by the dial? I tried to turn the dial and looks like nothing has changed.

2. If I changed the feed time/speed in mp10wes, will it applied the changes to the mp40w as well?

3. my mp40w does not start-up properly when power on, it gives the red/green blinking error for stall condition. The wet side is clean and can spin freely, the problem is on dry side as it won't spin at all, sometimes it will spin when I opened the pin spacer, but sometimes I've to manually turn the magnet in order to get it spin. However when I put the wet side back on and turn on the power, that stall condition appears again, the only work around is to attach the wet side while the dry side is spinning. The pump is more than 2 years old and would like any idea to fix this problem.

Thanks

1. Yes, the MP40w will be 20% of the max speed set by the dial.

2. Yes, those settings will also be applied to your slave MP40w.

3. Is the dryside showing a stall error when seperated from the wetside (off the aquarium) and powered on? If so, it likely needs to be sent in for service. If not, the issue is related to your wetside and/or the pin spacer setting on your dryside.

The dry side give the stall error when separated from the wet side. I need to remove the pin spacer and power on again in order to get the dry side spinning (without the wet side attached). After that I put the pin spacer back and the dry side is working ok when power off and on. I am sure the pin spacer setting match my glass thickness and the pin spacer looks fine to me without any broken parts. After that I attached the wet side and turn the power on, it stall again. The only way to get this pump working is to attached the wet side while the dry side is spinning.

My pump is out of warranty and I live in Hong Kong, I can get this pump check & repair by the distributor but I think the cost will be expensive. So I am looking for some hints or directions for a easy fix. May end up going to open up the dry side myself and see what I can do about it.
