MP20 standard driver

I've heard that the MP20 comes with its own standard driver. What modes does this driver have?

The driver on the MP20 is identical to the MP40w but lacks the wireless functionality and higher flow rate. They have the same modes and basic functionality.

Can the MP20 be put on a day/night timer with the Vortech battery backup coming on at night if the power goes out?

Is there a night mode? What's it like?

If you purchase the battery backup then it will always be backing up the pump so long as it is plugged in. There will be no need for a timer to enable this protection. Like the MP40w Gen2's, there will also be a night mode on the MP20 which slows the power to 50% of your preset speed and runs it at this speed constantly for 10 hours.

If I get a 48 inch long tank, then I'll definitely look into the MP20.
