Just bought one, installed it last night, during commercials of heros. At first I was a bit annoyed as it was making a TON of noise, and I was thinking i just threw away $300. This morning I played with it a bit and found out things were not lined up properly. Now it is basically silent, must say, I LOVE all the options. I can't decide what level to set it at/what mode. But for a 40g tank it is great. It is going to be my only pump in the system.
I love that they have the night mode, feed modes etc.
Obviously can't speak to the durability. But so far so good.
If you have a 55g or larger... don't bother with the mp20. I would say 40g is the largest tank I would want one on. But at least if i ever need to upgrade i can just tell the wife I am getting a $150 pump. And after 300 that sound great!
