MP40 and night mode

Does anybody use the night mode or do you just keep it on its regular program?

I use the night mode. Good, bad, better, or worse...I don't know. lol

I like the night mode because it slow the water down at night.

Ive heard before the fish appreciate the chance of not having to fight the current. My main reason for night mode is that this is in my bedroom and a constant hum is much less distracting vs a hum that comes and goes a couple times a minute. That hum is my one complaint about the mp40, but ive heard that can lessen as the pump breaks in and I havent played with it that much as of yet so maybe there is minor aligning adjustment that needs made between the wet and dry side. I also woulndt mind dimming the light on the controller, its like a night light, something I havent needed in months

I use the night mode for the same reason, my tank is in my bedroom. Just remember everytime you unplug it you have to reprogram the night mode. Now if I could just get the overflow silent......
