hello Everyone

This afternoon one of my vortech mp40 started flashing red and green and when i try to shut it off if wont, but when i unplug it it looks like it goes through a cycle flashing all the colors then just flashed red and green. I cleaned the wet side and checked the dry side and still no issues. Also the dry side is not hot and the unit does not work.

Any thoughts on what to try next?
I has a date of may 9th 2013
Please help
Michael

Michael,

Red/Green flashing is a stall error meaning the dryside is unable to spin freely. This is typically caused by an obstruction or damage to the wetside. That said , have you tried running the pump without the wetside attached? If the issue resolves itself, it would be best to completely disassemble the wetside and clean all components thoroughly. If you do continue to have issues, please call in today.

I checked the wet side there are no porblems at all it spins freely. I then checked the dry side and that spins freely as well, But nothing is working, all i get is the red and green LED flashing back and forth. I also tryied to run the dry side with out it connected to the wet side to see if it would spin but no luck, all i get is gren and red LED flashing
