I have a 180 with rose bubble tip . Also two haddoni and a Gigantea on a 180 gal. tank . Can anyone recomend a setting for me with these pumps. There are two of them on opposide sides of the tank. Max setting is 3000 gph.
Thank You

Where are the anemones located? I have two MP40Ws on my 75 and run them at about 75% power on long pulse mode at approx. 10 second intervals in anti-synch. My bta is near the center of the tank a little more than half way down from the surface. It's somewhat protected from direct flow by rockwork. Depending on the location of your nems, you should be able to run your VorTechs at full power in a 180. The best indicator is a visual one of how the tentacles react to whatever flow mode you choose. Mine sway nicely back and forth with the alternating action of the pumps in anti synch. I'm sure lagoon or reefcrest with the pumps either in anti synch or running independently would work well also. Experimentation is the key. Have fun...

Forgot to mention, my pumps are about 3 and 1/2 inches from the surface.

I have never used those pumps, but I can tell you to keep an eye on the Haddonis when you make any flow changes. From me, even moving a powerhead an inch will cause my Haddonis to move.
