Oh sorry,Said the guy who joined today.
Oh sorry,
Hi all, My name is CrookedStick and I'm a reefholic. Been in the hobby for a few years now. I spend most my money on the SPS type. I've been lucky the past few years, but old tank syndrome must be catching up and now it's time to start getting help.
This is my third post, and with the help of RC, I hope to become a regular of this forum and cure the old tank syndrome.

But out of all their MP's the 40 seems to have the most posts that are problem related.
I guess another reason might be that they are releasing it's replacement due to all the issues users are having. But before they do the are allowing the current one to be discounted so that vendors can clear their shelves for the new product.

Is it because the MP40's are having so many issues.
Maybe because Neptune is coming out with a wave pump. Can you say competition?
! Look at their lights, they all have this huge external box attached to them. Could you imagine your IPhone if it had a long cord attached to it which went to its battery that fit inside your lunch box.
so you would rather have the drivers inside your light itself with all the heat they produce?
The lights are small and look great, the single cord doing to the drivers/power supply is great. It keeps all the heat away from the fixture itself, and in case you never noticed...........all of the high end lighting does this.
