Mp40 upgrade

Just wondering if it's really worth the $75 to do the QD upgrade I hate the whining noise and I refuse to run it much higher then 50% because it's so loud is the $75 really worth it and it only been running for 1 day driving me nuts

I have done it for a mp60 and it is amazing! At first i tought it wasn't working. I just ordered two upgrades for my mp40.

Mp40 upgrade

Has anyone upgraded the old mp40w, if so has it been successful, I've read where some people have had problems like the impeller running backwards and what not, I've contacted Ecotech with my concerns and they suggested I just send it to them for the upgrade if I am worried but it's pretty strait forward and I don't really want to pay the shipping costs if it's not really to common

I seem to remember hearing that the really old MP40's needed a new wetside when they were upgraded to QD and that EcoTech helped with that.

Hopefully it's just the old school blue box ones and I'll be okay because I never luck out and get free stuff

They are phenomenal even at 100% I find they also run cooler, but it could just be my imagination. My MP10 is older and the dry side gets very warm on pulse and full throttle. My 2 MP40's on my Reefer 450 is much better.
