Mp40 vortech help

Im setting up a deep blue 57 gallon rimless reef .
A buddy of mines told me to buy the mp40 for it .
Trouble I'm having is the mp10 is recommended for up to 50 g
Would the mp10 be enough for this tank?
The tank is only 36 inches it's not a 48 in.

Can you give me advice on what I should do?

I would get 2 mp10 for your tank but if you ever want to go larger then get the MP40.

Go with MP40 for sure.Once you put rock in tank and corals grow out,one MP10 will not be enough.

Your right I might consider the mp40 cause I'll want a bigger tank in the long run.

What type of lighting would you recommend me to get?

Just so you know. The MP10 sometimes might work and sometimes might not work on thick glass tank. The spec says 3/8" is max.
I have an MP10 on my 57g deep blue and it works just fine (without the spacer).

get the mp40wes and be done with it also for lighting i would look into ecotechs LEDs or AI LEDs. good luck
