MP40 Vs. MP60

So, I just upgraded to an 8ft tank and moved over my MP40's from my old 4ft tank. I immedaly noticed that the cord wont reach from the right wall to underneath the cabinet to the the left wall of the cabinet to mount to my electrical board. Was thinking of maybe upgrading to the MP60's.......is the cord on the 60's longer? If so, that maybe the deciding factor.

Sending them in to have longer cords is a service Ecotech provides, for a price I believe.

If you feel comfortable with splicing you could extend the wires yourself pretty easily. Probably kill the warranty though.

Kind of a odd way to look at this.^^^

If warranty is a concern then send them in to Ecotech.
If not like in my case. i purchased from Ecotech the cables and soldered them on myself. IIRC they were like 23-32$ each.

We sent in our MP60 to have an extended wire. Something we could've done, but would've voided the warranty.
