MP40QD Seperation while running

Help -
my new MP40QD experiences separation during operation. It's like the wet side gets out of alignment from the dry side forcing them apart. It seems to happen only when changing from reef crest to nutrient mode.

I checked that I am using the correct spacer on my 12mm glass already. I've aligned them many times.

The MP40QD on the opposite side of the tank does not do this.

I would recommend making sure the wetside is clean and spinning freely. Disassembling the wetside and checking for any dirt or debris would be a good first step in troubleshooting this issue.

Problem with that is the unit is new. So unless they a shipping dirty then that is not the cause. But, I'll dissemble it and report back. Thanks

I would recommend switching wetsides with your other VorTech so see if the issue follows the wet or dryside. Please contact us directly for more advanced troubleshooting.
