mp40w flow ?

If anyone tells you no, then they have no clue!! I put my mp40 on my wife's 75 and almost sucked every softy off the rocks! That at less then 1/2 power.

If your doing a sps tank then you better go bare bottom or have some heavy substrate.

What do you plan on keeping?

I have one in my 65g and I added a K1400 as well. Could probably get away with just the MP40 but you might need to add a little suplimental depending on your individual situation.

I only have 1 MP40 in my 120 and it puts out a good amount of flow even though I will be adding a second. I think it will be more than enough for you.

It really depends on the tank.

For 99% of the tanks out there yes 1 will be enough. If your tank is chalked full of rock and sps you might consider a second after you see what one does.

also, i had mine on the side of the tank.

you might try it on the back wall. it might suit better depending on the rock structure and corals...
you will just have to play with it.

I have 2 MP10's for my 75 --- one on each side wall, set up as anti-sync --- tank is mainly for 2 of my S. Haddonis which aren't too found of lots of flow.
