MP40W>MP40QD= Reverse Flow???

I've just recently upgraded my driver from mp40w to the new mp40 Quiet Drive and found it strange that it now flows backwards. I've tried resetting, changing mode and unplugging everything but it still draws flow inwards rather than pushing flow outwards. When I switch the driver back to the wireless(original) the flow pushes. Any ideas or suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

That's a very unusual issue that I've only encountered few times. That said, I would recommend sending the pump in for service. We will be able to test the pump carefully and make any repairs/replacements.

Can you elaborate as to why you think it's the pump and not the QD driver as the culprit? When I switch it back to the wireless driver everything works fine but obviously the pump is noisier. This was the main reason I had decided to pursue upgrade to QD. I'm concern that after the shipping, labor and parts replace it'll add up to a price of a new pump and would just rather cut my losses and try a different route.

Some older drysides are not compatible with the new QD controllers. Call customer service they exchanged drysides for me.
