MP40w Parts and repair questions

Hi everyone,

I recently scored a bag full of MP40 parts in it there is

Dry side stuff
-1 working power supply
-1 working (I think) controller (MP40w)
-2 complete dry side assemblies
-1 almost complete dry side assembly

Wet side stuff
-2 or 3 wet side frame covers
-2 nozzles
-3 wet frames (all cracked/broken in some way)
-1 drive shaft
-2 propellers
-2 magnets
-2 plastic screws (both are fairly worn on the heads)

So I obviously want to get some of this stuff working. As far as I can tell i need:
-1 Power supply (just going to use a jaycar one)
-1 Control unit
-2 wet frames
-2 bearings
-2 washers
-1 driveshaft
-2 plastic nuts

That should give me 2 complete working units. But I have a few questions.
1. Is there an Australian stockist for the spare parts listed on the Ecotech Marine website or do I have to order what i need through them.
2. The pic on the website of the driveshaft looks different to the one I have. Has it been changed? If so can I still use the wet side pieces I have with a new driveshaft?
3. Can I buy a controller by itself? The gen2 -> ES upgrade kit looks like a complete controller, but I'm unsure.
4. Will 1 ES controller and 1 gen2 controller work together?

Thanks in advance
Chris

1) we do not sell internationally through our website so all of the parts there are US type.
2) The pic on the website represents the latest drive shaft. If you have the older style you will also need an older style propeller, or just switch to the newer style propeller.
3) Yes.
4) yes, but the ES controller will not be able to transmit the ES modes to the older controller. They will only work together in the "classic" modes.

I recommend you contact Tim Jacobson, our Australian distributor. He can sell you whichever parts that you will need. His contact info can be found on our website under "Where to Buy"
