ok I want to buy a MP40w in the next couple of days and the store I have to purchase it from (I have a gift certificate) says it will most likely not be a gen 2.

can I get the driver and magnet upgrade sent together?
is there any cost for the upgrades?
how long does it take to get everything once I email the warnty card and reciept in?

If you purchase a pump today and it is Gen1 here are the steps you need to take to make it a Gen 2.
First your controller will need the flash upgrade. You can send the controller only, to Icecap where they will flash upgrade it and send it back within 1-2 days. Send along a copy of the purchase receipt and if purchased after 23 May you will be provided with the Gen 2 magnet kit at no charge. You can also get the controller flashed if someone you know or the store has a Gen 2 and is willing to flash upgrade it for you.
