MP60 on a 36" Cube

I am upgrading to a 36x36x31 tank. 1/2" glass. I was considering using an MP60 for my flow. My 2 MP10s are no good on the 1/2" glass. Any thoughts on using an MP60?

I got the same size . 2xmp40 should work better . Mp 60 is way to strong for 36"

When I put it on the calculator, it showed that both would be in the correct range. I knew that I could use 2 MP40s.

2x MP40s would be a better choice for your tank, IMO.

A MP60wES will provide all the flow you will need, but for aquariums under 48 inches you may find it is just to powerful.

2 mp40s on the same side. I've run it with one on the back and one on the right. The current and rockwork disrupted the flow losing some of it. The two on the same panel seem to work together but long term it's effecting the growth and sps grow sideways. As I cannot change direction of flow only speed in one direction. I've never seen an mp60 but I would think it would have a large area in front of it that would be too strong for even millipora.

I will probably do 2 mp40s on the back wall. I really liked the idea o one ginormous water fan in the back wall tho

Thanks Chad. They certainly do help. That and feeding the fish 4x a day until they don't eat anymore. I have tons of algae I just pluck it before pics.
