Mp60 ?

who's got one and what are you thoughts? Im debating between the mp60 and tunze 6105 for my 230g? mostly concerned about noise.

I cannot comment on the MP60 but can on the 6105. I just bought 2 for my 150g long and they are SILENT. I have it on wave mode so one is at 100% for 8 sec while the 2nd is at 30% then alternate. With my ear to the glass you can slightly hear the 100%

If you want anything more than the regular mode out of the MP's, I don't think you'll care for the noise. I'm a tunze fanboy through and through

I have it on my 210, use to have it on a 90. I'm about to build it into the stand though. It will be placed low to kick up the crap. You're welcome to stop by and check it out.

I've got 1 MP60 and 2 MP40s running. The MP60 replaced 2 MP40s (i used to have 4 MP40s). The 60 is a bit quieter than the 40s depending on the mode you use. I like ReefCrest, so there is very little of the ramp up whine that people notice. I guess i don't notice the sound of the vortechs as much as others do. The skimmer and return pump hum make more noise to my ears.

i run two 60's and two 40's, with the tank in the living room i find them annoying, at first they were fine but after a year of use they are quite a bit louder..
