Naw. Just have first hand experience. If the other half of your relationship can't support your passion (they don't have to be passionate about it mind you, there is a difference) then what else will they not support you on, have understanding for, or be willing to sacrifice a little of themselves for your happiness (and you have to do the same)? Relationships are two way streets. I think a lot of us forget that sometimes. And that two way street involves supporting each other emotionally and mentally in even the smallest (and silliest) endeavors.
I'm constantly saddened when I read about couples where one half has bought the other half their dream home and then is completely resistant to the first half making the home theirs too by having an aquarium. Or any similar story--you get the point.
