Hey Gary....
sorry to see you loss from the salt that looks truly devistating. but on its way back thank god....

got a question to pick you knowledge base,
I got a nano (12gal) with a 96wt powerquad on it and do 5 gal weekly water changes,
sps seem ok for growth as well as zoa's and cinamon polyps..
anthalea is ok tooo
but for the life of me I cant get green clove polyps to even stay ok?
I do on occasion add aragamite powder, iodine amino acids and 2 part.....
salinity is 1.025
any thoughts?

Hey, Andy.
Are you talking about these? if you are, I was for some strange reason, the only one I know to keep them local. Every frag I gave out died on others. I know MKlier tried a few time too to no avail.

I've always had problems trying to keep clove polyps, they never really took off like I was expecting them too as well.

Hi, Andy!

Hi, Andy!

nice coral! I never had the green kind like Mark posted a pic of. I did have the "regular" pink kind. It was hard to kill :D
There must be some different requirements with those green ones or we'd all have them.

'ya know.. the more I think about it I might have had the type Mark posted a pic of in my previous aquarium. Mark- did I ever get some of those from you... or was it someone else?

I've got several types: pink, pink and green, and pink and green with orange tips. They originally grew like weeds, but everyone who I fragged them for, either had them die or was unable to get them to grow. I still have them but they now grow super slow

I'm not sure, Gary. I'm not sure who ended up with that bunch after the tear down either.
