MR10-18 - What pump are you using in your video?

Hi.

I'm contemplating running a biopellet reactor on my 300 FOWLR. I'm thinking of running 2L of pellets and found your video on YouTube of the MR10-18 nicely tumbling 2L of pellets:

I know on your website you recommended a MagDrive3 or Eheim 1250. Was curious what exact pump were you using in the above video.

Thanks.

Does the MR10-18 come with both mesh and foam pads? Do you see any issue running GFO in the MR10-18?

I'm still on the fence whether to give biopellets a try or not. I still have my sulphur denitrator running (still constantly fiddling with it trying to get it to run consistently) and it has brought down the nitrates on my FOWLR from 100 to 20. I need to run GFO right now and if I do decide to give biopellets a try I figured might as well get a big enough reactor to run it since I need to run 2L of biopellets.

If I do run GFO in the MR10-18, any pump recommendations?

Thanks.

Yes it comes with both mesh and foam pads, so it is easily repurposed from GFO to biopellets. You don't want as much flow through GFO, just enough to gently tumble it. Probably a mag3 or similar 300 gph class pump. The reactor also comes with a ball valve so you can fine tune the flow if the pump is a bit overpowered.
