MR10 recirc air issues

Howdy,

it's been running for almost 24 hours now and still has air in the system. How long does it take to bleed all this air out? If I open the bleed valve it sucks air in, making it worse. I'm running all-in-one with a fairly vigorous tumble and for break-in I've got the flow coming into the reactor set at about 50%.

This is still happening. I can bleed all the air out by plugging the output and using the bleed line but as soon as I close the bleed line and unplug the output air slowly enters back into the system.

Where might I look for the air leak?

Still no response from Avast ... tried both emails mentioned in the sticky post, I see they also have a support email so I'll try that one as well.

Update,

I received an almost instant response using the support at avastmarine.com.

They had a few suggestions but I decided to attach a shutoff valve on the output line and open the input line all the way. This works perfectly, stopping the air issue and still allowing me to restrict the output flow. IMO this should be the standard installation rather than what is currently recommended.
