Got this sebae Last friday..I know I said I was going to stick with LTAs from then on. I decided that I must of got a dud the first time. I was nervous about the new one thinking I might end up with an unhealthy anemone again despite how colorful and healthy the anemone looked in the picture.

After the new anemone got here I opened the box and then opened the first bag and the one inside it was upsidedown. I was upset ..this anemone looked dead it was upside down and its filaments were coming out of its foot. I thought..well maybe this is just what they do when stressed. It was..I don't see the filaments coming out of its foot anymore..weird huh? Tried to flip it over so I can see its mouth and then it stuck to my glove..big time. Ok its sticking to my glove..so it is still alive. Then I acclimated it to my tank for a while and then added it. Ooo this is the wonderful part.. I picked it up with gloves on and tried to put it in a place I selected for it...lol tried is the word..it wouldn't let go of the glove. I thought about letting it stay on the glove but every time I let go the glove would just float away with the anemone. After almost an hour of gentally wiggling and jiggling the glove the anemone finally let go of the glove. Sigh that was a pain...means its healthy I guess.
It has loss some color durring shipping.
Friday night it stayed in the spot I picked out for it.
Saturday morning we saw that it have done some moving and moved over here.

I could see it was on the move again all day saturday so sunday morning it moved over here and attached to this rock

Todays picture..looks like it settled in nicely.

yesterday I fed it a small silverside and it took it..yay :D
Its not as colorful as my other one but as long as its healthy thats all that matters to me.

Congrats, Must of been a bad one first time round. Happy that you got a good one this time:D

Yay, indeed. It looks healthy and like it has already attached and settled in. I'm really glad you got a healthy one this time.

So did you get this one from liveaquaria.com, too?

Yeah! I'm so happy that it worked out for you! Keep us posted on the progress - and I'd love to hear how LA handled the whole thing - did they give you a refund on the other or anything since it was within the 14 days?

Yeah I got this one from diversden too..this is what their picture of this anemone looked like.

Thats why I said it must of loss some color durring shipping or they have different lights. Its mouth is closed tight, its attached and its eating already. Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Maybe it will go back to the color it was in the divers den picture after a couple of months.

Kimsie, ..I sent them an email asking what do I do to get the credit. They said all I have to do in my next order is to say in their notes section is..I have credit on my account and would like it to add it to this order. So I did that..it haven't showed up on my debit statement yet so I guess they just didn't bill me for this order.

hey guys, I am experiencing some thing weird and its a bit freaky as well..my coral beauty angel is not shy about this anemone ..she keeps going up to it like she is nipping at it. What could possibly be going on? Is there some thing wrong with the anemone..does my coral beauty have a death wish? You would think she would try to stay far away from an anemone.

really? This is the first time I have heard about this. She eats anything I give her. I make sure she gets plenty of veggies and mysis. She doesn't bother the corals so this is odd. If the coral beauty keeps it up she might end up being my sebaes next meal.

Do a search on yahoo or google

Do a search on yahoo or google

type in marine angels with anemones.

Maybe some thing more credible then me can come up.

That angel can kill that thing if it bothers it too much.
