Got this sebae Last friday..I know I said I was going to stick with LTAs from then on. I decided that I must of got a dud the first time. I was nervous about the new one thinking I might end up with an unhealthy anemone again despite how colorful and healthy the anemone looked in the picture.
After the new anemone got here I opened the box and then opened the first bag and the one inside it was upsidedown. I was upset ..this anemone looked dead it was upside down and its filaments were coming out of its foot. I thought..well maybe this is just what they do when stressed. It was..I don't see the filaments coming out of its foot anymore..weird huh? Tried to flip it over so I can see its mouth and then it stuck to my glove..big time. Ok its sticking to my glove..so it is still alive. Then I acclimated it to my tank for a while and then added it. Ooo this is the wonderful part.. I picked it up with gloves on and tried to put it in a place I selected for it...lol tried is the word..it wouldn't let go of the glove.
I thought about letting it stay on the glove but every time I let go the glove would just float away with the anemone. After almost an hour of gentally wiggling and jiggling the glove the anemone finally let go of the glove. Sigh that was a pain...means its healthy I guess.
It has loss some color durring shipping.
Friday night it stayed in the spot I picked out for it.
Saturday morning we saw that it have done some moving and moved over here.

I could see it was on the move again all day saturday so sunday morning it moved over here and attached to this rock

Todays picture..looks like it settled in nicely.

yesterday I fed it a small silverside and it took it..yay
Its not as colorful as my other one but as long as its healthy thats all that matters to me.
