Multi Barred Angel Fish?

anyone have this fish in their tank?

it's called MultiBarred Angelfish..

They are extremely difficult to keep. Probably one of the most difficult angels. Search the reef fishes forum for a very good thread about them that is fairly long.

I agree. Its a really tuff fish to keep. Does someone out there have success probally. Is it the norm, nope :(
 
I do agree that this fish can be very difficult to keep, but I do not think that it is one of the hardest angels (compared to those that can't thrive without alot of sponge in thier diet) . I had one in my 135 gallon reef for over a year untill a catastrophic tank crash (thats what happens when the power goes out and your away! :() It really all depends on the specimen you get and the maturity/stability of your tank. If you have a mature tank with lots of live rock to pick on in the begining and then get a relatively healthy specimen from the fishstore (which can be a crapshoot) you might have a good chance of it doing well. just my 2 cents :bum:
