Multi tank nano systems

Does anybody run a nano system with multiple tanks like a 10g with a 10g sump or similar. I'll be moving soon and will need to downgrade from my current setup and was thinking of doing a triple stack of 10g tanks. Dt on top overflow to a 10g fuge and then overflow to a 10g sump. I have a display fuge now and would love to do another but on a smaller scale. Anybody have anything similar?

I want to do an extremely low energy build. Ecoxotic pano strips for lighting, lowest wattage pumps all around, even a nano skimmer. I'm putting together the 10g tanks right now and building coast to coast overflows in both display and fuge. I'll have to wait on a build thread since I won't be able to put any of this up til we move to your country.

Could just do three closed system setups and avoid the hassle of interconnecting them all. Lost of people do 10 gallons with minimum equipment.

Where is the fun in that? Plus, the added water volume will make a big difference. The dt will be SPS. The fuge will house several macro algaes I already have and a zoa garden. Ooooh ooooh or a quad stack. SPS, zoa, fuge, sump hmmmm the wheels are a spinnin!

There are two that may give you some ideas.

The first is a side by side build with water from one falling into the other.

The second is the step build with 3 displays at different heights.

They may give you a few ideas.

I feel the need to repeat myself in this thread.

I did I did. I'm going to use the overflows from the stair step thread. It will be a stack of 4 10g though. The dt will sit on top of the stand with sps. The other 2 will be in an enclosed stand but they will be viewable through a framed "window" cut into the stand door. The tanks will be mated up to the window so only the tank is viewable. So basically, SPS, lps, zoa tank and then the sump. It will top out at roughly 6 feet. I may condense it down to 3 tanks and mix the zoa's and lps. I bought the tanks this week and am waiting on the sale of my current tank to help fund this project.
