Multicolor & Flame angel

Any one keep these two together successfully? I was thinking of adding a multicolor to a 75gallon reef. Tank inhabitants are 1 small yellow tang ,1 flame angel,1 green mandarin.

I put my flame in time out for a week when I add new dwarf angel. It helps let the new one established before getting chase for a bit by the flame. I have both in my tank. Flame a year old while the multicolor is 6+ months.

They have been together for just under 2 years now -- along with a coral beauty in my 65. The flame is the leader, and the multicolored just seems to mind its own business.

A newer one, can see all 3 of them,

Thanks for your reply. I think I'll give it a shot.

Sure thing.

I have found that using an acclimation box goes a long way -- allows the fish to get used to each other without any risk of damage. Also, makes it easier for you to remove one of the fish if you can tell that it just isn't going to work out.

Each time I have done it, I left them in the box for a week.

do you have problems with any of them nipping corals? if you can even tell with all of whatever that is you have in your tank lol. what is that btw? xenia? gorgonians? cant really tell from the pic

I have both together, some chasing of each other. A 75 gallon may be a bit small for both.

My experience was adding a flame when the multicolored was already established. This was in a 75. The multicolor pretty much harassed the flame mercilessly. I had to remove the flame. I would maybe rearrange the rock work so no territories are there or follow Toddtrex's advice and use a acclimation box. I now add any dwarf angels at the same time.

IMO, I don't think a 75 would be too small for 2 dwarf angels at all.
