multicontroller got wet the otherday, does not work anymore.
is this possibly repairable, or should i just purchase another one.
thanks archie

If it got wet with power applied it is not likely repairable. I do however have replacement circuit boards that I can install at a discount. If you send it too me i will install a circuit board for $90 if the unit is not repairable- I won't know this until i see it.

If power was not applied we may get lucky and just have to clean it.

Got your multicontroller today. Damage looks very superficial infact after rinsing in DI water and swabbing over it with alcohol I cannot even see any damage. I will fire it up tomorrow and let you know the result. Generally when no power is applied most electronics fair very well.

Archie- I think I lost her. Below the red diode indicating what flow rate the pump is on is a small micro surface mount component. The unit worked for about one minute and then this piece made a miniature fire and the lights flickered and the pump alarms went off. Tomorrow morning I am going to try to replace this component. These pieces are not meant for installation by human hands and while it can be done I have a 10% chance of being successful. If I fail I will install the new board and either way it goes back tomorrow.

thanks for repairing, recevied yesterday, works fine,
but the feed button sticks, i am able to pull it back into
normal postion.will it free itself over time?
thanks again for great service

Arrgh! The one thing I didn't check! The board is very three dimensional and obviously I didn't get it lined up perfectly with the hole. Try wiggling it alittle- gently push it side to side. If you can't get it to work proper I can send you a switch- it just plugs into a socket on the board. It isn't the easiest thing to change because lining up the LED's and knobs is time consuming but you could do it.
