Multiple Angel or Tang Stocking

In Memoriam
I'm thinking about either adding multiple tangs or multiple dwarf angels to my new 180 along with a harem of lyretail anthias. Any comments on multiple angel and/or Tang stockers?

Angels:
Rock Beauty
Flame
Coral Beauty

Tangs:
Purple
Sailfin
Achilles

Any suggestions for a different grouping?

Thanks!

Most people will tell you that is not enough swimming room for an achilles (need around 280-350 gal).

But if you pick a different acantherus I would say that would be fine in a 180. I'm not sure which tang you should add first or if it would be better to do all at the same time with the lights out.

So perhaps a Powder Blue or Brown? I was very fond of my Powder Brown but the Blue that I had was very striking as well. I was planning on QTing all three at once as I always hypo QT my tangs and then adding them all to the display as the second group of fish in the tank - after the anthias.

the purple and sailfin are both zebrasoma, different genus of tangs might get along better.

this is what i was planning on in a 280..might give you some ideas:

- TANGS: Achilles, Blue Hippo, Orange Shoulder, Powder Blue, Purple, Tomini
- ANGELS: Blueface, Emperor, Majestic, Flame, Coral Beauty

although i think a 180g may be too small for an achilles or orange shoulder...i think 180 is probably enough room to have 2 from the same genus...you could also look into a tomini or kole tang since they are a differnet genus then what you have listed

my achilles thrived in a 220 cube. 4 ft length, but there is swimming room around the whole perimiter of the tank and up the middle... along with a LOT of flow and very turbulent water. He constantly played in the flow.

I have a 220 (tall 180), and I have a yellow, purple, and sailfin. The purple and yellow have always been together, and I just added a sailfin that is bigger than both of the others 2 weeks ago. They're all peas and carrots. :)
