Multiple Blennies in tank?

I have fell in love w/ Blennies for some reason, their comical antics are very amusing, right now I have a starry blenny, and would like to know if I could add another blenny species.

I have a Starry too, so I can relate to your desire for more. However, everything I've ever read indicates that you cannot keep multiple Blennies or even "Blenny-like" species together.

I have been keeping a black-sailfin blenny(4 in) with a tail-spot blenny(2 in) in my 75 for about 3 months now. Occasionally the larger blenny chases the tail-spot but nothing major.
I believe if you have enough hiding places and the blennies are not of similar size you may get lucky and have them co-exist.(just have a back-up plan in-case they can't get along)

I agree, it depends on tank size, hiding places and how similar the blennies are. I added a pair of red sea mimic blennies to my 100g, but the bicolor blenny didn't appreciate them and had to be removed. But before that I've had a midas, sailfin and bicolor coexist. :D

I kept my lawnmower and midas together for a while in a 29g. They did great because one eats mysis and one scrapes junk off rocks. Just as long as one is more of a swimmer and anothers more of a benthic species youll be fine.

Are starry blenny that "b" word you said lol? What about tailspots? This would be the stock:

2 Ocellaris Clownfish
1 Bullet Goby
1 Leopard Wrasse (Female)
1 Starry Blenny
1 Tailspot Blenny

Would that be good? Am I overstocked? Understocked? What would you add if I I was understocked, if anything.

Both blennies(tail-spot and starry) stay around bottom and feed mainly off the l/r. These would be 2 sp. that others say can't be housed together (but so are my tail-spot and black combtooth).

I believe success with keeping them together would depend on each fishes personality(50/50 at best). In a 55 gal. with a lot of live rock and plenty of hiding places you may be ok provided both blennies aren't the same size(tail-spots max is 2.5"). Could backfire though and send your smaller fish into hiding.

i have a bicolor and a midas. The bicolor was first and is very small, then the larger midas. They ignore each other.

greg rothschilds tank has 4 or 5

Here is a link to his tank w/multiple blennies (2nd video). Great video by the way.

I have a Midas and a Bi-color togther. They've gotten along great since day one. Sometimes they share the same hole.

Anyone have experience with a sandsifter goby (diamond watchman goby) and a bicolored blenny? I currently have the goby, I really miss my blenny and would love to have another. Also, is it true gobies can kill cleaner shrimp/peppermints?
