Multiple Butterfly Owners

Im looking to possibly add a Butterfly to my 240 gallon Fowlr.Whats the hardiest most agressive B.Fly youve had experience with? I have a 8-9 inch Blue Face Angel that is a bully and am afraid if he harrases him to much they can get ich real easy ...I have.no past experience with Butterflys so maybe their hardier than i think?

Make sure to QT the butterfly to not only deal with disease, but also get it adjusted to aquarium life and eating aggressively. IME butterflies like auriga and ulietensis are very hardy and can handle themselves once established. Heniochus acuminatus/diphreutes are also very hardy, and make a great display in a large tank.

I have both Chaetodon auriga and Chaetodon lunula and they are both hardy and can handle themselves. +1 on the qt

Thanks Guys,Im leaning towards getting a Raccoon( Chaetodon lunula i think).I would definetly do the QT thing.

i'm considering doing the same, going with auriga, lunana, longnose, pearlscale and pakistani.

I agree with the comments that you would be making a good choice with any of the auriga, lunula, and ulietensis butterflyfish as they are hardy butterflies that can handle themselves. They also are readily available and affordable. A semilarvatus also may work but is is a lot of money at risk if your Blue Face takes a disliking to it.

A saddleback butterfly (http://animal-world.com/encyclo/marine/butter/SaddledButterflyfish.php#Length/Diameter of fish:) also should do well. Mine is an aggressive feeder and a very active swimmer.
