multiple clown gobies in 14 gal.

ctenophors rule

I understand that clown gobies shouldn't be kept in congregations of the same species in small tanks. my question involves mixing species.

At my LFS i saw a tank with one blue (most amazing green ever!!!) one black, one yellow, and one panda. They were all on the same rock, and they didn't bother each other.

Is this the exception or the rule?

Huh...I've always heard the same thing about keeping the same species together. I have two TR green clown gobies who were sold as a pair, yet still occupy different sides of my 34G and fuss at each other a little when they find themselves in the same spot. (They completely ignore my tiger gobies, however.) Maybe it is because they're different species, even though they're members of the same genus?

Sounds like a neat display--you should take a picture next time. :)

I'll try and post one when i set the tank up with them, that is unless someone advises against it....
