Multiple Firefish?

Does anyone keep multiple Firefish in one tank? Is it possible to keep both a regular firefish and a purple firefish in the same tank?

Yes people do it and it usually doesn't end well. They seem to do ok together while young but when they get older they get territorial towards other firefish and start killing each other off.

We got lucky and added a second to a 75 and they mated and laid eggs.

I have a purple and a regular one and they hang out together. I just added 2 zebra gobies and I have a watchman. They all get along.

I have a pair of the regular ones that are buddies. I used to have 3, but the other two larger ones picked on the smaller one til it swam to the overflow and down to the basement sump where it jumped out. I added a purple firefish back in November and they all get along just fine ... never a problem or fight.
