Multiple male anthias

Hey everyone,

So the standard "rules" (haha) say one male anthias per tank, and you can mix females pretty readily. This is what I have always done up until now. However I know a few people have some males together too.

My specific situation: I have 1 male lyretail, 1 female lyretail, 2 female bimacs, and 1 unknown sunburst in my 180 (among other fish) and I am planing adding numerous more females. I am picking up a gorgeous and HUGE male squarespot (must be a supermale if anthias do such a thing) tomorrow. What are the chances of me being able to leave my male lyretail in the tank? I dont mind getting him out if I have to (hes actually not that pretty...). I'll obviously remove him if he's getting picked on, but what does everyone think is gonna happen?

I don't think it will be a problem. But always watch and see - they don't read the rule book :)

I've kept males of Lori, dispar, pictilis, and parvarostris all at the same time with no issue's between them.

I'd be worried about the square picking on other fish anthias and others in a 180; IME they can be very agressive.
