Multiple pH Probes and Email Alerts

Hey Guys,

I have added a PM2 module for my Kalk and Calc Reactors and they have been working fine for the past several months.

So I decided to add them to my email alerts.

Ph_Kalk is pHx7
PH_Calc is pHx8

In my email alert I have tried the following:

If pH > 08.70 Then ON
If pH < 07.70 Then ON
If pHX7 < 11.00 Then ON
If pHX8 > 7.20 Then ON
If pHX8 < 6.40 Then ON

If pH > 08.70 Then ON
If pH < 07.70 Then ON
If pH_Kalk < 11.00 Then ON
If pH_Calc > 7.20 Then ON
If pH_Calc < 6.40 Then ON

But I get the error that after the IF statement :

Error: Valid keywords following If are Temp, pH, ORP, DO, Cond, Feed Cycle, SwitchX, PowerFail, Sun, or Moon

I went through the Users guide but didn't see anything about multiple pH and IF statements.

I also ran a search query in the forum and didn't come across anything.

What mistake am I making ?

Thanks in advance!

02, I don't have an answer to your question but I noticed you have a 30g surge at some significant height above your tank. How high is the surge? Are you using Hayward Acutated valves, carlson or some other? Any chance of a video?

Kind Regards.

The surge tank sits on a second story balcony. It's about 12' off the ground. I built it originally as a Carlson surge tank. Its plumbed with all 2" plumbing and I used 2" long sweeps to run through the wall and into the tank.

And I ran it that way for almost 8 years. In July I installed a Hayward Actuated Valve. It was a great upgrade, no bubbles.

Here is a video of the original Carlson device:

Can't video tape the motorized valve, because there is nothing to see or hear.

Calculated flow rate is over 25k gph while it's surging.

Dave,

What a great video!! I actually remember one of your posts about this a while ago and it caused me to initially design a surge tank by going out my basement and up the outside wall about 8 feet. I was going to insulate and use a Hayward as you have now done. For various reasons I put that on hold but you are an inspiration to put it back in at some point.

Kind Regards
