multiple text #'s and email addresses?

there's only two (as you've discovered) in the setup but I would imagine that if you are using an email client that can support distribution lists and rules (like Outlook) then you can set a rule to forward to a distribution list of unlimited email addresses. Haven't tried it but no reason that wouldn't work.

how about text messages to 2 phones then? cant just put a semicolon or something in between numbers in the setup or anything like that?
The reason being is that when I go away I would like to recieve all of my alerts but I also want my tank sitter to get them too.

If you can set up the rules as aquamanic suggests, you should be able to find the e-mail address for the phones and have multiple phones be part of the distribution list. You could have it send to as many phones as you wanted as well. They will come in as a text message this way as well.

Neither "," or ";" seem to work even with the latest firmware version. Really wishing they could change this.

I use GMail and have a rule set up for those messages that forwards my alerts to the other addresses that I want it to go to.

2 email destinations is quite ample for the vast majority of people.... many products with email capability are limited to just a single recipient address. If you need more than 2, do as the others have suggested and use the automatic cc: / forwarding features of your email system.

That's what I've done. For the two addresses the Apex can do, one is to text my cell number and the other email address is a dummy email address set up specifically for the Apex. Any mail coming in to that address is then automatically auto-forwarded to a list of email addresses.

I can see a lot of reasons for more than 2 addresses. As a traveler, I would like an email sent to my email address, my cell phone, and the tank sitter's email. Or maybe someone has multiple tank sitters. For couples or families, maybe they want the alert sent to the email and/or cell phone for multiple family members. Sure there are workarounds, but the functionality would be nice.

Greatly appreciate the info though from those who replied. It is nice to know there is a way if I play with it.

I have to strongly agree. The Apex would work if it didn't store the data or show graphs, but simply streamed the information elsewhere and you created a web server that allows you to collect this data and display it as a graph on a website.... Ok perhaps two of the posters in the thread have done just that, but for the rest of us it is nice to have that feature already built into the Apex.

Point being it would likely be just as difficult and time consuming for the programmers at Neptune to allow more then two e-mail addresses as it would be for the average hobbyist, who already struggles with the router set up and port forwarding, to set up a dummy e-mail account for forwarding.

Even for those of us capable of creating working arounds may be familiar with the term "KISS". Since the Apex already has the ability to use two e-mail addresses, having additional would prevent counting on a middle man dummy e-mail account. If that e-mail is out of commission for a couple hours in the middle of the night for maintenance(a screen I too often see while trying to access my hotmail account late at night) then the emails won't get through right away. A couple hours of unanswered distress calls could be a huge difference with how quickly some things can go wrong.
